Warner Bros. Games and Turtle Rock Studios today released a new trailer to Back 4 Blood, which shows the action of the co-op and PVP modes, which expects the participants of the upcoming open beta.
The former access to the open beta starts on 5 August. The open beta offers traditional campaign content and a completely new PVP mode called "Schwarm", in which two troops from four people compete in three rounds against each other and alternately claners and infected games.
The open beta begins with an earlier access phase for pre-order from 5 to 9 August. Players can also register on back4blood.com/beta to be selected with a little luck for this phase.
The beta phase is continued from 12 to 16 August and then is available to all players. Both parts of the open beta can be played on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Playstation 5, Playstation 4 and PC.

The open beta of Back 4 Blood contains the following content:
- Two cards for PVP mode "Swarm"
- Two co-op cards on which one could fight infected with his friends
- For the first time, Mom is playable, as well as other Cleaners: Evangelo, Holly, Walker and Hoffman
- In "Swarm" mode you can play six different variants of infected games: Bruiser, Retch, Stool, Exploder, Crusher and Stinger
- Various weapons to try, maps for putting together and infected to kill
- Explore the Central Scene Fort Hope
- Supports CrossSplay and Crossgen
Back 4 Blood is a first-person Koop Zombie shooter from the creators of the criticism-celebrated franchise left 4 Dead with an exciting and dynamic moment-to-moment game and greatly changeable, customizable action to keep players back again and again.
The plot of back 4 Blood takes place after a catastrophic disease break where most people died or infected by the devilworm parasites. Through unspeakable events hardened and ready for the fight for humanity, a group called Veterans of the Apocalypse, Cleaner, called together to face the horror of the infected and recapture the world.
Back 4 Blood will be available on October 12, 2021 on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Playstation 5, Playstation 4 and PC. Pre-orderers can participate from 5 to 9 August at the earlier access phase of the open beta and receive additional Fort Hope Elite-Waffenkins.
