Wii U was a failure forward because it led to change - Reggie Fils

The former president of Nintendo of America speaks of one of the largest failures of Nintendo.

Nintendo is currently on the rise, a console that simply does not stop selling, no matter which market you are, and it is clear that the company has recovered spectacularly from its unusually distant abysed outages. The abysed errors mostly came from the Wii u, a console that ran in multiple terms and ran in the market only extremely bad.

According to the former President of Nintendo of America, who has now retired, this was a necessary failure to some extent. In a lecture at Cornell University (summarized by Resetera users theoryymon), Reggie called the Wii U unflagged a mistake, but they described them as mistakes forward as this led to the immensely successful change.

This is not the first time that the former Nintendo man manifests this opinion. A few years ago, before the start of the switch, he described the Wii U as a a necessary step to get to Nintendo Switch . It is easy to understand what he says, because a look at the switch is enough to tell you that Nintendo has refined and improved many of the semi-hearted ideas that originally executed with the Wii u.

Of course, The Switch Gangbuster sold for Nintendo, which is the opposite of what the Wii U did. 15 million units were sold in North America and 10 million in Europe, and the worldwide deliveries were last over 36 million.
