NFL: Corona alarm tested positively at the Ravens - Lamar Jackson

Star Quarterback Lamar Jackson by the Baltimore Ravens has been positively tested on the coronavirus.

At least ten days, players will have to spend in quarantine. Thus, the Baltimore players could come back to the team at the earliest one week before the first preseason game against the New Orleans Saints (14 August). Jackson had already been positive on Corona in the past season and had missed a game.

In the NFL there is currently a vaccine debate. The League had informed the clubs last week that a Corona outbreak under non-vaccinated players of a team would lead to a defeat in a game failure if the encounter can not be made up. This will ensure that the season starting on 9 September can be terminated within the scheduled period.

According to Ravens-Headcoach Harbaugh, 90 percent of the team were vaccinated against the coronavirus. Last week, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodel had informed that a total of 75 percent of the players were vaccinated.
