Update 5 for satisfactory is known to appear in the fall of 2021. Apart from the fact that the developers want to improve construction modes in the game (speculation: blueprints à la factorio or dyson Sphere Program) will be redesigned at least part of the game world, namely the "Northern Forest" region (northern forest, third startup option). The following video shows the improvements compared to the current version. The new forest includes new plant and tree models and looks clearly poet. Also a cave can be seen at the end (without comparison). The changes consist mainly of small landscape improvements and many adaptations of the plants, which should not affect too much in the area already built factories.
