UFC 5: New offshoots apparently delayed Fight Night

Even if EA has not yet made an announcement on Fight Night, there have been rumors over and over again in recent years about a reboot of the series. As the insider Tom Henderson is now tweeting, the development of the boxing game is in direct competition with EA Sports UFC 5, the last branch of which was published almost two years ago.

Sooo, Apparently, EA Sports UFC 5's Release Date Was Leaked?

So while the development of UFC 5 is considered secure, Henderson assumes that boxing fans at best have to be patient until the MMA simulation is released in the summer of 2023.

The EA Canada team will only devote itself to the creation and release of UFC 5 and then have capacity for a fight revival at the earliest, Tom estimates. As of today, however, both games have not even been officially confirmed by EA. It is important to hope for friends of the classic fist fight that the quote "They Never Come Back" will not be true in the end.

However, these rumors are not brand new. Already in November we reported that EA may have released the emergence of fight night, but had to "pause" it because of the latest UFC offshoot.

So when you can get back into the ring remains to be seen.

Which game would you like to want: UFC or Fight Night?
